What is the difference between pressed foundation and matte powder?

i never really understood thisWhat is the difference between pressed foundation and matte powder?
Well, pressed foundation is a foundation in pressed form. It'll probably give you a bit more coverage than the matte powder (depending how you apply it). A matte powder is basically a powder. To apply over your foundation and set your makeup. The ';matte'; part of the powder is basically the finish it gives. There are certain powders and pressed foundations that give a natural finish, matte finish, satin finish, etc. Btw, you don't need powder over pressed foundation, since it's already a powder. What is the difference between pressed foundation and matte powder?
So you meed Loose and pressed case

Matte powder can me pressed and or loose: lets the face have no shine and or glow just flawless matte no glittler no sheen on the face

pressed it comes in a compact where you CAN TAKE WITH YOU it's pressed!!!!!!
Matte gives you a smother looking finish while pressed in my opinion gives a thicker looking appearance on your face.
