As a general rule- It can if you don't wash it off properly. But I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse too and sometimes I find that it can cause spots a little bit- mostly if I use it every single day without a break, trying having some days not wearing it!I use maybelline dream matte mousse foundation, can foundation cause spots?
ive been using that same foundation for a few years and i love it. i havent gotten any spots from any of the foundations i have used, make sure to take all of your make up before u go to bed

Occasionally, but tea tree oil helps to remove the spots when they occur!
