My skin is oily around the T-zone, BUT after having a shower, washing my face, my nose starts to flake and some areas near my mouth also flake. So when I wear foundation you can see I'm wearing it because the flakes are just foundation coloured! :(
How do I rectify this problem?
Help pleaseeee.I use a Revlon matte foundation. Problem!
that is exactly my problem.
i use cetaphil moisturizer for my face
%26amp; then i apply on foundation!
(;
i hoep that helps.I use a Revlon matte foundation. Problem!
exfoliating and moisturizing are good things to do... but have you thought to maybe change your foundation??
i recently did to this wet/dry foundation by prestige cosmetics.. I used to use like 3 different products from cover girl that were not good for my skin what so ever.. it felt like i was wearing cake on my face but it covered well as i have occasional acne break outs.. however this stuff like replaces all of that.. it feels like you are wearing nothing.. and it covers like a dream..its really actually amazing.. and where my skin gets dry due to acne meds.. you don't get those discolored flakes that pop out and make you feel un-comfortable and paranoid that someone is looking at it.. plus since i've switched makeup i've been having few problems with breakouts as well.. since the stuff doesn't clog your pores.. plus its relatively cheap to buy..
hope this helps.. good luck
You can either but a moisturizer straight on your face, or you can add it to your foundation and it kind of thins it out. (I also have the exact same problem)
Get a wash cloth, wet it, and scrub your face.
You can also use an exfoliating cleanser.

lol
please help me.How long would dream matte mousse foundation last on oily skin??
I'm a makeup artist and beauty therapist.
What you need is a foundation that is oil-free or non-comedogenic. These type of foundation are enriched with oil absorbers. The best foundation texture for oil skin are: cream to powder and liquid (oil-free or water based). Don't forget to dust your face with loose powder after applying your foundation. This step is really important because loose powder contains oil absorbers and is best for oily skin. How long would dream matte mousse foundation last on oily skin??
it does good for pimples but if ur skin is oily then i wouldn't recomend it because it kinda makes ur face oily throughout the day

A good matte Foundation?
Ive got prom in a couple of days and im after a very matte foundation and any powders and stuff to go with it to create a very smooth pale look.
Ive heard of using mac studio fix and then blot powder on top and wonderd if anyone else uses this method with mac stuff or knows better products and better methods?
Thanks =]A good matte Foundation?
Are you oily skinned?
Okay, Studio Fix is basically Revlon Colorstay but with better colour choice. Revlon is cheaper so check out that first, it does give a matte finish %26amp; lasts all day! It's quite a good coverage too %26amp; will even your tone out.
Estee Lauders Doublewear is actually my preferred long wearing foundation choice %26amp; this gives a matte finish too. I'd check that out as well, try and get a free sample ;)!
Blot powder is pretty good, try and get a powder that suits your skin tone %26amp; make sure you're not allergic. Rimmel do pretty good powders that give a perfect matte finish on top of foundations.
MAC select is pretty nice %26amp; gives a matte finish too but I didn't find it that long lasting but it could have been the weather..
Have fun at your prom %26amp; I hope this helps xxA good matte Foundation?
Hiya,
I have oily skin and the best matte foundation ive found is Clarins Truly Matte foundation. I really like it, but more for daytime use. A heavier coverage matte foundation which i like for evenings is No. 7 intelligent balance mousse, its MUCH better then maybelline mousse!!!!!!! Always set with a little powder, the best one for oilies is maybelline dream matte powder, honestly i have tried EVERYTHING and those combos are the best ;-)
happy prom!

with Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse 16hr Mousse Foundation you don't need the powder too.

Best MATTE Foundation?
You know that foundation were you can tell you've got it on sort of thing? well I need quite a thick foundation thats going to cover my spots. I'd prefer a foundation that doesn't show, but them foundations usually don't have the coverage I'm after. I've heard revlon colour stay and powder make your skin flawless, anyone tryed them? Please! oh yeah I have quite fair skin. Thanks xBest MATTE Foundation?
MAC studio fix is the best! i cant stress this enough, i have really scarred skin and thread veins and it covers everything, and has a nice natural matte finish. the lady at the mac counter said its medium to full coverage, as you can you can build it up in the areas that need full coverage. you could go to your local mac counter and ask them to apply it so you can see if you like it before you buy which is what i done. it costs about 拢18-拢19.Best MATTE Foundation?
You don't have to pile on your foundation thick to cover your spots. You can buy a concealer to cover your spots and then cover that with a foundation. This way you do not have to pile it on thick and then it doesn't look right and LOOKS like you have on makeup. What I do personally is put on a little concealer on my spots and then I use a loose mineral powder to cover that. You don't have to go thick for the coverage. Avon has these products and they don't cost much.
I have the Revlon colour stay foundation and I love it. I bought the Mac mineralized satin finish foundation. It has to be the worst thing that I have ever bought from them. It didn't look natural and it was difficult to blend.I wasted my hard earned money. Revlon also has a primer for your foundation that works amazing. I love their foundations and powders. It covers but doesn't make my face look like I got a ton of makeup on. I did my sisters makeup on her wedding dy and I used the colour stay foundation and powder. Her face looked flawless!!
Max Factor colour adapt foundation. Its a bit expensive but its definitely worth it! I bought mine about a year ago and I still have it!

I would say that Creamy Ivory is the best colour for fair skin and it covers spots really well!
The foundation is quite greasy though, so I use LOREAL paris true match super blendable powder in a slightly darker colour than the foundation so that i dont look like a ghost!

Estee lauder double wear is the best matte high coverage foundation.
Its 拢22,a bit expensive i know, for a bottle if you live in the uk and it lasts for ages and stays on all day.Makes skin look flawless and you don't even need to use concealer with it because it covers so well

Some people have said its drying on your skin but i remove my make up every night, like you're supposed to and ive never had that problem so as long as you remember to take it off and moisturise you'll be fine.
I have really pale skin and they have loads of light shades and they can match up your skin in about 5 minutes and give you a sample to take away if you want to try it first.
I know about 5 people that use this foundation and they all love it,hope you find what you're looking for
Also i tried the max factor foundation colour adapt foundation and its a light coverage foundation, not high like you wanted,it was ok but more like wearing a tinted moisturiser and it didnt hide imperfections very well
mary kay has the best ones ever, they have every shade you can think of so it always looks natural!

How long will my dream matte mouse foundation last once i've opened it?
Look on the label of the foundation.
There should be a little picture of a pot with a number and an 'm' after it, ie: 12M = 12 months.
This indicates how long the product will last for once it has been opened, basically it's use-by date.
This is true for all cosmetics, but the use-by date varies from product to product. xxHow long will my dream matte mouse foundation last once i've opened it?
if you keep the lid on then refer to the PAO (period after opening) symbol like these
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Period-afte鈥?/a>
it is like a little picture of a pot with a number beside it which is how long you can safely use it for after opening. But yeah, they do dry out if u leave the lid off!How long will my dream matte mouse foundation last once i've opened it?
Depending on how much you use, it could last for months. I've been using this stuff for forever, and I LOVE it's smooth texture. I normally keep mine for about a month and a half to two months, just because my skin tone is always changing and stuff like that.
After a couple months, though, it looses its creaminess and gets kind of... weird. I dunno. It's not necessarilly bad, but it's as if all of the air that's been puffed into it to keep it so lightweight has sort of... left? I guess the best analogy is like a coke going flat. It still works okay, but its quality definitely decreases.
But yeah, like I said, about one and a half to two months should do it.
iv had mine for about 2 months, but it started to go a bit wierd, so i wouldn't recomend using it after that amount of tmie really, plus the bacteria in it could give you spots!!! xoxo
Foundation is usually good for 6 weeks. If you leave the cap off of your foundation though, it will ruin faster.
it will last for a while, but when you forget to put the cap back on it will dry out

it actually sinks into your fine lines and its gives a rather dewy finish instead of matte. I think it would work better for someone with dry skin. so no, it would not work well for you. if you do get it however, let us know hwo it worked out hahaa :)
most would say it works out for the better.

Who loves dream matte mousse foundation and y?
I love dream matte mousse foundation because:
- It's really easy to apply
- Blends in well
- Stays put all day
- Doesn't feel like you are wearing and foundation

xoxWho loves dream matte mousse foundation and y?
I like it because I found a perfect match to my skin color and the finish is pretty decent for a drugstore brand. Also it lasts a long time once it has been applied - good value for money.
Careful when using it though - you should use it in small amounts until you get the level of coverage you need. Don't apply it in large amounts because it will look cakey and unnatural.
I HATE IT:
-its caky
-it makes ur face look dry
-looks like its sliding off ur face by the end of the day (oily faces)

i love bare escentuals. it's powder but provides great coverage. gives your skin a glow and goes on light and smooth. it's also very quick to put on.
ID bare escentuals bare minerals. Doesn't even feel like you have it on, people think you're complexion looks great because it doesn't leave any obvious signs of make-up, and it's non-irritating and just PERFECT. One thing though, even though it's not supposed to be drying, I did forget to put moisurizer on first one day and my skin definately felt I bit dryer than if I hadn't put any make-up one. But it's well worth the money. A 10-piece started kit (2 foundations, 1 mineral veil, 1 complexion builder, 1 bottle of rev-up, 1 complexion, 1 kabuki, and 1 concealer brush, an instruction disk, and a book) is $60 at Sephora. also have a club on their website at www.bareminerals.com
MAC liquid foundation can even out any skin tone and is about 30-35 dollars.
i have found mac to be really good but it does cost a bit
I really love the Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation by Bee Luscious Cosmetics its AMAZING, you can also get the matching pressed powder for a more matte finish but it is not necessary. Google Bee Luscious Cosmetics you will love this foundation and it lasts for over 7 months its incredible.
mac has some great stuff go 2 nordstroms and ask them to do a makeover on u its free and then ask 4 the combanatyion foundation thingi ur talking bout then buy it but its like 30 bucks o well it works goodfree

I really love the Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation by Bee Luscious Cosmetics its AMAZING, you can also get the matching pressed powder for a more matte finish but it is not necessary. Google Bee Luscious Cosmetics you will love this foundation and it lasts for over 7 months its incredible.
mac has some great stuff go 2 nordstroms and ask them to do a makeover on u its free and then ask 4 the combanatyion foundation thingi ur talking bout then buy it but its like 30 bucks o well it works good
What's the better foundation: Dream Matte Mousse or Pure Makeup?
It's like 115 degrees out these days and when I sweat, my makeup gets really caky and patchy but I have to wear some sort of makeup because I have a couple small zits and a bunch of hyper pigmentation spots. :( I heard that these foundations were good.. Which one's better?? Or you could suggest another AFFORDABLE brand.
I hate getting shiny, it's so embarassing! ThanksWhat's the better foundation: Dream Matte Mousse or Pure Makeup?
Pure make up is the best for the weather.
It has less make up melt down than the dream matte mousse. I own both, I use both, but, it depends what I'm looking for.
Dream matte mousse I use when it's not terribly humid outside and I need a little extra coverage.
Pure I use when it's humid outside because I have oily %26amp; Acne prone skin.
I always lead the foundation with primer, it helps the make up last longer. Just ask a woman at the drug store, she'll be able to recommend an affordable brand. You can pick up a mini thing of smashbox primer for 10 dollars and the amount you'll end up using is minimal. Primer I use on hot days, long days, and long nights!!
I'll cleanse, moisterize, prime, foundation.
both don't need to be followed by powder, however, I will sweep a little translucent powder on my t-zone for some extra oil control. Applying it only to the t-zone will also prevent tons of make up and powder to shift into smile lines or creases.
Pure is fab also because you can apply with your fingers. It's not so great for layering. So if you need to apply more Pure in a specific spot it will cake and create an uneven seam.
If you have spots to control with Pure, first touch up the spot with the matching Pure pencil concealer, with a make up sponge or concealer brush blend in the edges for seamless coverage. Then when applying the foundation over the spot gently dab to then blend the edges in.
Simple isn't it?
Matte Mousse, you can layer. Apply with a sponge and not your fingers. You don't need a lot, just keep the coverage of foundation light and thin. It's not to refinish your face, just to refine and even out the skin tone.
Always aim to do your best skin care regime so that the foundation application is minimal.
What else to share? Not much else. Pure is great make up, I've not had a break out since I started using that as my main daily make up.
Cheers! What's the better foundation: Dream Matte Mousse or Pure Makeup?
i use DReam Matte Mousse and i love it. it blends so well into my skin, it's so light and fluffy and it's MOUSSE! and it's available in so many different shades. i use it on the small blemishes i have to cover them up. it works really well. just make sure to pick the correct shade for your skin tone and blend it in real well.
I think foundation from Covergirl is pretty good. It's light and natural.
Dream matt mousse looks patchy and shiny after a few hours. When you o go foundation shopping i reccomend looking for a oil free foundation. Any other foundations which aren't oil free just add to the oil on your face making it look shinier. Anyway but oil free foundation and add a translucant powder over to settle it.Try using oil absorber papers and using them before you apply the foundation and through the day.
Are you thinking of liquid or powder? I have Pure powder, and it's not really good, it's TOO dry, and I end up having to put a moisturizor on over it. I use Cover Girl liquid Clean Makeu-up. Its not too dry and not too oily. It's also cheap- like $3/bottle. It's standing up to our 100* heat. Good luck!
Pure. Make-up, and anyone could afford it.
well I have some of both, and I think that Pure Makeup is much better and covers wayyyyyy better. But to keep from getting shiny, just keep some tissues in your purse and blot where you're shiny. it shouldnt remove the make-up but it will remove most of the oil, and then you wont be shiny.
Dream matte mouse is great I use under my eyes If I were you I would just use that on the ares that you want to cover up and take a a loose powder and apply after the dream matte mouse. Also a small suggestion. Don't wipe your face off with your hands. Use a napkin and dab the sweat off. I repeat don't use your hands!
I've had each of them, and it felt like dream matte mousse left a film on my face. In the summer I barely ever wear foundation , but when I do I use the pure makeup, because it doesn't feel like I have anything caked on, and it does good in this texas humidity I live in
If i was you i would buy bare minerals. Its sort of expensive but if you shop the right way you can get it for a reasonable price. And it isnt shiny and after a while it starts to improve your skin,...not make it worse.. best of luck : )
Pure makeup is really watery, I didn't like it. I like L'Oreal True Match, but in the summer I use Neutrogena Skin Clearing Clean Tint, it holds up very well in the heat. L'Oreal Bare Naturale is good also, it's a powder foundation. Bare Minerals isn't shiny, but it's full if mica, so it is sparkly.

About Maybelline dream matte mousse Foundation?
have any of you used Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation?
If you did, Please tell me about it.
Does it have a good coverage? is it thick or is it light?
How much can you get it for? Is it easy to get it off
the face when you wash it with normal soap?
AND does it look natural? THANKSAbout Maybelline dream matte mousse Foundation?
okay, to start off, if you have any dry spots then it'll look really flaky and bad.
it does have good coverage, it goes on smooth.
yes it's very light and def. mousse like.
i got mines at walmart for about 6-7 dollars.
and yes it is easy to take off but i would recommend makeup remover to remove all of it.
%26amp; yes it looks natural, but remember to do some research on the shade that will fit your skin tone the best.
good luck :)!About Maybelline dream matte mousse Foundation?
I used it when I first started wearing foundation and I hated it. I have oily skin, so maybe that is my problem but, it seemed to thick sometimes and not enough coverage at others.
If your looking for a really good foundation that looks natural I would try bareMinerals. It is only 20-some dollars and it is soooo good.
I love that stuff :] it matches my skin perfectly an looks very natural n goes on very light and it feels lite on your face but it has very good nice coverage. mine was about 7$ an yes is easy to get off . the only thing about it is that is does have oil in it so it might break you out the first couple of weeks but once ur skin gets used to it it shouldnt break u out any more.

Yes!
Its so good i'd seriously recommend buying it, its so light it feels like you're not even wearing any and it looks so good!Has anyone tried dream matte mousse foundation from maybelline??
yes, but you have to have oily to normal skin to use it. i had dry skin and it was AWFUL. but when i put it on when my skin was oily, it looked really nice.
it ok it depends on your skin type
if u have dry skin when you put it on you can see your skin peeling
if u have normal to dry skin
its great because it dosent show any shine and it feels weight less
hope this helps
I like the feel, but none of the Maybelline colors are right for my skin color, so I can't use it without looking yellow or orange.
no,but the blush is awesome!!

Dream matte liquid foundation or Revlon color stay w/ SPF15?
Which one works better ?
Tell me by personal experience, don't suggest any other foundations.
I just want to know which ones better.
TEll me why, and which one has better coverage, which last longer, and which one looks the less cakey.
Anyother pros or cons are always good (:
thanks %26lt;3Dream matte liquid foundation or Revlon color stay w/ SPF15?
Colorstay, definitelyDream matte liquid foundation or Revlon color stay w/ SPF15?
Dream Matte = DM
Revlon color stay = RCS
Personally if I chose one it would be RCS. DM looks great on your skin for the first hour, and lives up to what it says but it only lasts maybe an hour at most WITH a primer.
Now RCS I compare this to MAC studio fix fluid (which I use) it gives the same coverage, but it's a little harder to blend, but to spend an extra 30 seconds every morning is worth the 20$ you save. It lasts all day on me!
So def. RCS!
They both can look cakey. I use a MAC 187 brush, or a MAC 109 brush for the studio fix fluid and I used a MAC 190 for the DM. It didn't look cakey, I set them both with MAC studio fix powder, but DM powder is comparable to mac studio fix.
Revlon color stay is way better in my opinion. It lasts longer and the coverage is better.
watch this, she explains it better than i do...

but I guess you could use a concealer brush. Can i use dream matte mousse as a concealer instead of an all over foundation?
that's the rite way. NO WASTAGE.
yes, you are right, if only some parts of your face are spotty, its better if you cover up on those areas.
use a brush ( concealer brush) preferably from The Body Shop. follow the link and there are tips on how to use it.
yea, it works great either way !
it doesnt work with a brush, its too soft and falls off.
just use your finger tips %26lt;33
Depends on what ur covering
Should be ok
Dont use a brushfree

Maybelline Dream Mousse Foundation vs. Rimmel Cool Matte 16Hr Mousse Foundation?
Which one is better?Maybelline Dream Mousse Foundation vs. Rimmel Cool Matte 16Hr Mousse Foundation?
I'm not sure
I'm a big supporter of Maybelline except their mousse range tends to wear out quicker so I have to go for RimmelMaybelline Dream Mousse Foundation vs. Rimmel Cool Matte 16Hr Mousse Foundation?
Go for Rimmel.
I've tried both of them. Maybelline is way tooo cakey and orange and looks worse as the day goes on. It also made me break out terribly!!!
Rimmel is very smooth and doesn't make you look caked or orange at all!!! And it helps my oily skin stay matte for most of the day. But i can fix that with a dab of toilet paper

The maybelline dream matte mousse is really cakey and gave me pimples :(

Whats better matte foundation vs. stick foundation?
what works better.
for oily skin
which one would you prefer
and why?Whats better matte foundation vs. stick foundation?
for oily LIKE ME i recomend you using powder foundation trust me,becz ive tried stick and it looked oily and u have to set it with powder which is TOO MUCH and it will definetly show like u have something on ur face !!Whats better matte foundation vs. stick foundation?
If you've got oily skin, you're better off going for a matte formula to help absorb shine. Even matte foundations can be very moisturizing so you might find that a light dusting of translucent power over the top will set it %26amp; blot any oil.
Hope this helps!
For oily skin i prefer the powder foundation.
Matte. I am super oily and because stick foundations are creamy in texture, they would melt on me-

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation?
give me some info on this and tell me if it is a good foundation to use. i have a little bit of shine sometimes but i dont break out a lot. i also want a natural look.Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation?
Hiya! I use this foundation everyday, and I absolutely LOVE it! I feel it's better for summer months than winter however. I would definitely recommend this foundation. It gives a wonderful natural look, and it will not cause breakouts. It does give a matte look, but not overly so. You will love the texture of this foundation! Just like mousse- and it glides on your skin! However, if you're unsure about whether or not to use the foundation, I suggest you keep the receipt. Most stores will let you return the product if it doesn't suit your tastes. Hope this helps :)Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation?
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT~
I get a fresh , non-cake like
look..
Not one to plaster makeup
on too heavy ,so therefore
this product goes on light.
also, the price is always right.
Walgreens has it on sale once a month..
buy one , get the second one FREE!
Enjoy..
this is good foundation but the lids on the container that show the color are a little too light. make sure you get the best match to avoid it turning your face too dark. This foudation blends very well and does not look fake. i would totally recommend it
I love this foundation. It goes on so smooth and really does go on matte. You can't tell your wearing foundation at all!
I dont use Maybelline face makeup but my sister uses this particular brand and she really likes it because its light and velvety. Good for oily complexions.
i don't really like any of maybelline's dream matte mousse products. true, i haven't tried their foundation (and would be happy being proven wrong here), but their eyeshadow and blush is really thick and shimmery, even when i only use a little. i use covergirl (pressed powder), and it works so well! i have a really oily face, and people keep complimenting me on how good my face looks now!
oh, and one last note: i don't hate maybelline, really! i LOVE their eyeliner (new york expertwear) and all of their mascaras.............just not their mousse!
Maybelline is horrible!!
Chanel and Shiseido are the best for my skin, a cheaper alternative? Clinique and Almay.
I bought a Rimmel cool matte at a walmart recently for a emergency make up and it is quite good!
I do get the ';shine also'; and sometimes badly , get those blue shits for oil handy or rice paper , I keep them with me at all time, they do not mess up your make up and get the shine away!
Good Luck
this makeup is good for clear skin, it does not cover blemishes. it goes on nice, but dont put too much or it will look cakey.
This makeup is fantastic! It goes on so smooth and looks so natural once applied.

Who uses dream matte mouse foundation?
Plus how do u apply it to make it look lovelyWho uses dream matte mouse foundation?
try using a makeup sponge it will leave your skin flawless.
Touch it up with transclucent powder.Who uses dream matte mouse foundation?
i used to use it. its really good you just apply it with your fingers
I used dream matte mouse foundation but it made my skin look flaky and all dry so it didnt look good on me but now i use m.a.c studio fix its really good.
Apply it on with a sponge or your fingers and blend it in well.
I have some but it makes may face look dyer
I use Dream Matte Mousse, and it's usually a hassle-free product. It's got great coverage, and a little goes a long way. Because you use your fingers rather than a sponge to apply it, you need to make sure your hands are clean before beginning the application. Else, you may run the risk to introducing bacteria into your makeup or causing breakouts. Simply pat the mousse with your fingertips and rub on your face. Watch out for makeup lines around the jaw and chin. Finish with a powder to help keep your foundation on and oil-free.
my first advice is that it cant look lovely...at least not in my opinion. it made my face look dry even when it wasnt and accented my pimples..when i had them. i persoally suggest using Loreal Paris' perfect match foundation....i LOVE it.
I've tried it but it makes my face look cakey. And very unattractive. I switched to L'oreals Bare Naturals, much better! And a great coverage.

i used to use it. its really good you just apply it with your fingers

What is a good tinted moisturizer/sheer liquid foundation that is easy to spread and not matte? ?
ffor the winter i would like to use a liquid makeup (sheer) or TM. I have normal skin that gets oily in the summer, dry in the winter, and matte or long lasting liquids are hard to spread and dry too fast.
1) Lancome tinted moisturizer
2) MAC select tint
3) Marcelle tinted moisturizer
i don't know the exact names but. the brand..What is a good tinted moisturizer/sheer liquid foundation that is easy to spread and not matte? ?

What do you think of Dream Matte Mousse Foundation ?

what do you think of Dream Matte Mousse Foundation ..maybelline
only answer if you have try itWhat do you think of Dream Matte Mousse Foundation ?
I have a naturally oily complexion, and also dry in places. It's not very good for me because it cakes around the nose and also doesn't allow my face to breath as much, causing more oil.
I reccomend a creme foundation for dry areas and a pouder for oily, and it seems that Matte Mousse tried to do both at the same time... And it didn't work for me at all. What do you think of Dream Matte Mousse Foundation ?
I've tried most all the Maybelline foundations.
I love the mousse because of the texture it has. It's really easy to blend and works great with a sponge. The only thing I didn't like about it was it doesn't give really thick coverage like a liquid or a stick foundation would.
It's definatly worth buying if you dont have much to cover up though.
I used to have some before I found out that maybelline is part of a brand that tests on animals.
I didn't like it - it was way too clumpy and thick and clogged my pores...
x
i think Dream Matte Mousse is a really good foundation.
it says on really well and its good when you put it on cause' its like proper smooth (y)

I thought it was ok, it feels amazing.

Which liquid foundation: maybelline matte mouse or revlon colorstay?
i have normal/dry skin.Which liquid foundation: maybelline matte mouse or revlon colorstay?
revlon colorstay for normal/dry skin. they have a bunch of shades so one is likely to suit you. maybe go to a counter and try them both on your skin to see which looks more natural. i found that the matte mousse made my skin appear powdery but i use colorstay for combination/oily skin, so its not oily and looks matte anyway. the good thing about the normal/dry skin foundation was that i could go in the water and it would stay on no matter what. so if its summer where you live i recommend revlon.Which liquid foundation: maybelline matte mouse or revlon colorstay?
I prefer Revlon Colorstay..If your skin is dry and you decide on maybelline mouse--you might want to try the new mouse liquid instead of the whipped mouse...
The colorstay is really good and the moose makes a really great concealer.

What is the best foundation: mineral, powder, matte, liquid, or any others ive missed for $30 or less?
i have been trying to find a foundation that is good for fair skin and covers up redness but doesnt look cakeyWhat is the best foundation: mineral, powder, matte, liquid, or any others ive missed for $30 or less?
MINERAL...it's natural and really good for your skin.
or try
LIQUID FOUNDATION...from maybeline and the like
use the one with a mint/green shade
then use a matte or sheer powder for finishing touches..What is the best foundation: mineral, powder, matte, liquid, or any others ive missed for $30 or less?
Revlon Custom Creations- it's a liquid foundation... I'm not sure exactly how much it costs but it is pretty cheap.
I loves it :D
Neutrogena at Wal-Mart. Best I have ever used and since I have sensitive skin it doesn't cause me to break out.
I stopped using mineral powder or liquid foundations because I feel that it didn't suit my needs.
Mineral powder looked horrible on my skin on certain days when my skin was dry and when my regular moisturizer didn't help.
Liquid foundations just made me look cakey.
Since I also had a problem with redness, I opted for a tinted-moisturizer. Right now Im using Clinique Moisture Sheer Tint with SPF 15. I believe it was $26 dollars at Sephora. I feel that it covers up my redness and is moisturizing as well, without giving me a cakey look. It has a thicker consistancy then regular moisturizer, with a slight color to it that helps cover up redness. I apply it after my moisturizer, and sometimes over a primer to help my makeup hold up longer. I also brush on some loose translucent powder from Cornsilk and my sister says my skin looks flawless when I do that.
Hope this helped!
I like this liquid stuff I got from Kohl's called like. american beauty or something.
I like Almay .....clear complexion makeup. It's light and covers up good and doesn't feel cakey.
I believe you'll find what you're looking for at aularale.com/7002 - entire line for people w/sensitive skin.free

What type of foundation is best for covering acne? Matte mouse, powder, or liquid?
please don't tell me any brands, i just need help on which kind of foundation is best for acne.
matte mouse
powder
or liquid? What type of foundation is best for covering acne? Matte mouse, powder, or liquid?
i don't think putting liquid and powder on top will be such a good idea... because although it will work covering up the spots... it will make it worse by suffocating your skin and no air will get to it, i gets spots after i wear allot of makeup because when u sweat your pores open but cant breathe because of makeup, then dirt and sweat and makeup get into the pours... causing spots, id suggest you have a light mineral powder foundation, it has great coverage and its really light...
good luck

xWhat type of foundation is best for covering acne? Matte mouse, powder, or liquid?
don't use a liquid because no liquid is 100 percent healthy for skin, and it can also make your acne look oily.
i know someone that uses a matte mousse, and it isn't very skin friendly because it clogs pores.
your best bet would be to try a powder, most likely mineral, for your skin. it is the healthiest option, and if you don't want more acne, you should use powder.
I use a liquid, a apply with a clean foundation brushed (make sure that the edges are rounded)
I notice that powder makes me break out so I try to avoid it. Since powder helps make your skin look less oily, I use oil absorbing sheets as an alternative. (Clean %26amp; Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets work the best)
This type of makeup is specially for ance prone/oily skin. I use it and it works really good for me!

Liquid for sure it has more coverage
and then use some spot concealer
loose powder needs to go over your foundation-to set it and not let it fade and for more coverage.
dermablend is the best!!! bare minerals is good to believe it or not but the best coverage for acne or scars is dermablend trust me on this
Ive had the best luck with liquid and smear it in just right. Mine always vanish and sometimes if im lucky you cant even see the bump
Use oil absorbant liquid on the pimples only.
First liquid, then powder over top. Make sure both are oil-free and non-comedogenic.
Matte Mouse won't cover your acne and neither will power, liquid will work best for you!!
matte mousee and then powder to finish it off

Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, or Mineral Power?
I have acne, so i need something with pretty good coverage, and i want something that won't clog my pores. So i'm stuck between these two Maybelline products. Can anyone help me decide which foundation i should get? Please and thank you so muchh!Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, or Mineral Power?
Mineral Powder without a doubt!!! I used to have really bad acne and the mousse foundation is just going to look cakey and thick. Your face will feel like its being suffocated with all of that gunk. Use the powder because it conceals the red spots really well, but is light.
I use mineral powder all the time, it really evens my face tones!Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, or Mineral Power?
i think the mousse foundation is the best liquid kind of foundation ive used.
and ive tried alot of mineral poweders.
most of them dont leave my face looking very nice.
but the ID minerals do.
i havent tried either but ive read all kinds of mixed reviews on mineral makeup...i think u should google Dinair Airbrush Makeup...ive been using using it for 2 years now and i love it!!! its amazing...it makes my skin look flawless. Its also all water based so its not bad for ur skin.
I would say the mineral powder - Dream matte mousse seems to be very cakey and makes my skin look dry! The mineral foundation seems to have a much smoother finish :)
id say get bare minerals.
i have acne and the dream matte mousse doesnt feel very good and it clogs ur pores and makes u break out more

Help with finding a full coverage drugstore foundation that is also matte for oily skin?
my skin is on the oilier side and i hate the shine i get after i put on my powder foundation...can you suggest a full coverage MATTE foundation, either powder or liquid or mouse, but drugstore plzHelp with finding a full coverage drugstore foundation that is also matte for oily skin?
i HIGHLY reccomend the revlon colorstay foundation:
1. its transfer-resistant.[which means that it wont go on clothes while getting changed ect...]
2. its got SPF in it. [protects skin from the sun!]
3. they have 2 kinds, 1 for combination/oily skin[the 1 for you] %26amp; 1 for normal/dry skin.
4. great coverage, %26amp; it stays on for 16 hours without moving at all!
5. %26amp; they have a wide range of colors so im sure u'll find ur perfect skin tone color. =p
they also come with a matching concealer + powder[i reccomend you get the powder too to control your shine more] =]
you can find this at any drugstore.
-- its also comparable to the mac studio fix fluid foundation, only, this is afordable!!!Help with finding a full coverage drugstore foundation that is also matte for oily skin?
try maybelline mousse i love it!! it's matte when dried (the mousse has to dry a bit before you see a matte finish, i think) and if you want a lasting matte finish, all before your make up, wash your face and as the oil is gone, put on a tranculent powder to keep it matte then apply foundation and then if you use, finishing powder, i dont :))) its like using your finishing powder also as a base coat for lasting matteness.
hope i helped :D
There's one, a revlon colorstay one. Not sure exactly how matte it is, i think there might be a matte version of the classic one though.
Also, rimmel lasting finish works really well! it might not be that matte, but it will hide shine for quite a while. there's also a stay matte foundation from rimmel, but it doesn't look as nice. good luck trying to find your shade in rimmel though - their colour selection is brutal. these are the ones that i recommend, but look around your drugstore and you're bound to find other formulas and shades that will suit you. a really popular matte foundation is maybelline dream matte mousse and the liquid one is out now too, dream matte liquid. maybe you should try those out :)
for most foundations though, you can give them a matte finish by putting on a pressed powder over top- i use covergirl professional clean? i think that's what it's called, its in a green package and is fragrance free. n.y.c. pressed powder and translucent powders are also really good at mattifying-don't judge them by the price!
good luck!
You could try Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse.

for most foundations though, you can give them a matte finish by putting on a pressed powder over top- i use covergirl professional clean? i think that's what it's called, its in a green package and is fragrance free. n.y.c. pressed powder and translucent powders are also really good at mattifying-don't judge them by the price!
good luck!
You could try Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse.

MAC Studio Finish Matte Foundation?
Does anyone use it? I heard that they were really old or something? Why were they discontinued? How did it work for you?MAC Studio Finish Matte Foundation?
MAC products are always great. Their Lipglass line is fabulous but you have to remember the origins of MAC. It's studo makeup so it's thicker and heavier so I don't recommend it for everyday use.MAC Studio Finish Matte Foundation?
That MAC foundation covers really well, and they have lots of skin colors to choose from so you'll definitely find one that matches your exact skin tone. I use it, and it makes my oily/ acne-prone skin look flawless. :D
I highly recommend it.

If you put on lots of dream matte mousse foundation will it look cakey?
yes it will and will look fake too.
Just apply evenly with a clean make-up sponge working away from the face towards temples ears and neck
Hope this helps youIf you put on lots of dream matte mousse foundation will it look cakey?
yes dream matte mousse as good coveage you dont need muchIf you put on lots of dream matte mousse foundation will it look cakey?
no moussie
Apply it with a foundation brush it will blend in better
Yes! i tried that.. and makes you look very fake..
Yes, I really don't like that stuff. The texture feels nice but it's a horrible foundation and it breaks you out. I recommend Clinique foundation , or Almay.
it will only look cakey if you use too much. start out with less than you think you need. you can always go back and apply more later.
yes, if it isn't giving you the coverage that you want then is not the right foundation for you.
if you apply this evenly all over your face or in problem areas it looks fine.
this kind of foundation has to be applied in small amounts if you put it all on you will end up looking like a pizza it will clog all your pores. if you want to put lots of foundation on go for a liquid.
your face will look face and cakey i use the same stuff but you have to spread it out and make it go all around your face to amke a good coat
try it and let us know!
just slap it on.........who cares! x
Yes. If you put too much of any kind of make-up on it will look too cakey. It doesn't matter what the product is, because you're just layering it on top of another layer. Your end result will be a very dense and thick looking foundation.
Why not go bare and let your skin breathe?
probably.
If you put on lots of any kind of foundation it will look ';cakey'; or more to the point unnatural. the idea is to put it on sparingly so that it creates the look that you want and covering the problem areas without it being obvious that you are wearing it in the first place.
yes, i have some of that. if i accidently put too much on it looks like i used a shovel as an applicator!!! I tend to put on the mousse foundation as per normal and then give it a quick sweepover with some cotton wool. That just takes off any excess!! Hope that helps.
yes it will looked caked on to much so no dont put too much on
ye it will if u plaster yourself in it. use abit, if you need better coverage u need a diff foundation
yes.
too much of any foundation will look cakey. get a good concealer and apply it to problem areas before applying your foundation.
Less is always more.
yes, Definatley mate...

i wear it myself and i put a fair bit on but i always moisturise first to make my skin soft also it depends on the shade if your fair skinned then dont use dark colours go for the colour that is closest to your skin xfree

Cover true blend whipped foundation or maybelline dream matte mousse foundation?
which one is looks better on your skin
10 pints for the best answerCover true blend whipped foundation or maybelline dream matte mousse foundation?
Funny, i'm young and have only ever tried those two foundations
in my experience, the maybelling dream mousse is a million tines better. Blends right in and looks great for me. The true blend my covergirl I found to look very very cakey. I hate it and will never use it again.
I would defenitley go with maybelineCover true blend whipped foundation or maybelline dream matte mousse foundation?
I first tried the dream matte mousse when it came out several years ago and I will never use anything else. It works sooo well and you can adjust the coverage because it blends so well. It also doesn't look as oily throughout the day which means less powder..which means a more natural look.
I sometimes just end up beginning on sale and trying out several types. Do what seems right and Im sure your instinct will be best.
i find the dream matte mousse works really well but ive never tried the whipped foundation to tell you the truth
maybelline tends to be a better brand
tru blend... i heard that mousse crumbles on your face

Is the dream matte mousse foundation the best. What do u think??
i think its quite good but them sometimes i get it and its rubbish wot do u thinkIs the dream matte mousse foundation the best. What do u think??
LOREAL is great i dont usually spend less than 拢10 you get what you pay for with make up.Is the dream matte mousse foundation the best. What do u think??
Not that many people liked it, I guess. I'm in love with the product. It's actually the only kind I can use and I've tried tons of makeup. The Dream Matte Foundation really does make your skin look flawless. It works miracles, but that's just me, I guess. Report Abuse
I do really like it, i use it more a less every day- its well worth the price!
But the only trouble is that it goes flaky on your skin after you have had the product for a while.
Rimmel .. get the London look ;)
I used to use it and I though it was quite good at first because it has a nice finish to it finish, and because it was matte. After a while though, I switched to revlon colourstay (which I think's brilliant by the way!) because:
I have have combination skin, with a greasy t-zone and dryer cheeks, and the foundation seemed to kind of stick to the dryer areas and make them look worse, even if I'd moisturized first
It seems to wear off your face really quickly
And also it made me break out!
Hope that helps! x
Yea, I used to have that and it worked pretty well. I switched to this skin clearing covergirl (or it might be neutrogena) foundation. It works great! It's in a square bottle and is sort of like a liquid, but it doesn't clog pores and actually helps clear skin.
i dont think its that good, makes face looks powdery and dries it out.
i would invest in a good moisturising foundation by a good brand.
i love it! but yeah sometimes it can get really dry
Nope i dont. It makes people look plastic and after a while you get lumps in it around your face so you look lke a crust plastic orange. You should get no7 perfect. Emmense stuff! Also Rimmel London is pretty good.
Its alright
Just makesure to put moisturizer on first, don't put to much on, actually put a tiny bit, and makesure you get the right color or it looks terrible. You may want to next shade lighter than what you are in this brand. It looks cakey sometimes, and does start to clump. But you could still always try it. But what I really like is true match, and loreal paris' mineral line
No, its way to thick. Sheer foundations or powders are much better as they dont clog up your pores. Mineral makeup is definatly the best though.
Love Maisie

I have used it,but I didn't like that much....after some time it becomes quit hard:/ I love Yves Saint Lauren Perfect Touch Radiant Brush Foundation. It totally and truly matches my skin tone! First foundation ever!!! My No. is 4. it is so light you don't feel you have it on,everyone thinks I don't wear any foundation at all! It is not that expensive 拢28.00 also would recommend Yves Saint Lauren Anti-Cernes Multi Action Concealer! It cover my dark circles %26amp; imperfections, also spots! It is 拢18.00 Def recommend to everyone! check out here:

I really like Merle Norman. Its is a little pricey but it is so awesome. I barley have to use any foundation and it hides most all imperfections. Their mineral powder foundation/powder is so great it works wonders. Its so light but it covers so good! its like $26 but it last forever. they really have great products. I would definitely try it. I will never use anything else.
I bought one and thought it was great the first couple of times I used it but not fussed on it now cos it's just not the same - I will stick to Max Factor and Rimmel
NO.AFTER ONE MONTH IT STARTS TO CLUMP.
each product claims to out do its rival but personally the main brands of make up i use is rimmel and maybeline (not sure if you get rimmel over seas im in sunny old england)
Dream matt mouse i personally like because you only need to use a teeny tiny bit to cover the whole of your cheek and not only does it blend well but its feels really nice on your skin,it doesnt feel heavy or sticky
personally i say give it a try and see what you think, youve got nothing to loose if you dont like it you know for next time
hope this helps =)
I Have 4 Foundations. I Have Virgin Vie Tinted Mosturiser (V.Good But 拢12). I Have Cool Matte Mousse (V.Good, Easy To Apply, Lasts Long, About 拢6). Max Factor Miracle Touch (This Is A Mousse Foundation %26amp; Is The Best ever, About 拢13). %26amp; I Have Dream Matte Mousse (Good, But Better Alternatives).
If I Was You I Would go for The Max Factor Miracle Touch. Its The Best Ive Ever Had, And Although Expensive It Lasts For Ages. It Looks Amazing.
Good luckk =] x
yea but it's better if you put like a mosturiser on first cause sumtimes it can look really powdery
yeh i think its great especailly for the price compared to other good quality stuff! if you have dry skin it can highlight it but then just moisurize before using it! it blends in really well too!! :)
it's quite good. but it makes your face look quite powdery and shows that you are wearing foundation.
i use 10 hour sleep effect foundation but bourjois. it's reallllly good and makes it look like you're not wearing any foudation!
i don't wear it everyday though, as i have heard that liquid foundation is worse for your skin. just when i am going out or whatever, or have a gross feeling day.
i got it from boots for 拢8.99 and really recommend it.

no i used it and it like wasnt good it clumped and started to like get all nasty
Hi, I tried this when it first came out and I too thought it was good the first time using it, but then after a while the my skin dried out alot in the dry areas and got more greasy and spotty in the oily areas of my skin, so I stopped using it, but I am allergic to most of maybellines foundations so this could of been it.
I have gone thorught so many foundations and although this was the one best for leaving a soft finish it wasnt worth getting bad skin for lol,
I am now going to try Avons Mousse foundation to see if I get the same result, which I an hoping I wont.
If not the only one that works for my skin is Tescos Barbra Dalys Oil Free Foundation, as its not too expensive and covers really really well.

Is maybelline matte mouse foundation usually darker?
in the container then it lightens up once on your face?
cause im not sure, im trying it for the first time, hope i didnt buy the wrong thingIs maybelline matte mouse foundation usually darker?
No, the color you see is pretty much the color you will get and it is amazing but I would suggest buying two different shades and see which one works better for you. Yea, it is spending a little bit more by buying two...but spending 10-14 dollars is better than looking like a clown lol trust me, it has happened to me. Try them out!!!
p.s. look for buy one get one free coupons for makeup at cvs and you will save the money! Is maybelline matte mouse foundation usually darker?
if it is the wrong colour, exchange it.
usually anything that goes on wet and dries will dry up a bit lighter. But then again, the depth could be fine for you but the shade itself could be off unless you have a very... ';generic'; skin tone and undertone (meaning that your undertones match the exact limited undertones offered by drug store makeup)
It tell you on the container what your buying like light or dark
It is probably a little lighter on your skin
Sometimes when I need makeup, I use the maybelline concealer stick, and it seems to be the only brand that doesn't do that. I have actually experienced that problem with cover-girl though.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation?
Would you reccomend it?
Does the colour match your skin tone?
Does it blend easily?
Easy to apply?
Thanks if you answer,
Kirsty xoxoMaybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation?
i personally dont like this foundation, it shows up dry patches, does not conceal very well, and i cant seem to find the right shade, its either too light or too dark, i either look white and chalky or orange, maybe its just my skin. i have heard pretty good things about it though :)
avon ideal shade natural liquid foundation is very good, :)Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation?
I found it goes on nicely, covers imperfections, it does match the colour of your skin as long as you buy the correct shade and it is easy to apply. What i found was though, during the day it started to look a bit yack, a bit patchy etc!!
Overall, i don't think it's bad at all, i've had worse but i've had better. Depends on your skin as everyone's is different.
Gd luck with it if you choose to buy it x
i love this foundation!! i also have problems with matching skin tone, because in the day you want to look natural but in the evening when i put that shade on in photos with flash i look white as a ghost! i have had many attempts to try and find the right shade of foundation, and so i mix it up with a lighter or darker foundation until it matches perfectly. when i go out in the evenings i make it a little darker.
Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse actually is great. I use the dream matte powder with it too.
I have superpale skin and their lightest shade suits me great.
It blends very easily and I find that it goes on darker but blends in paler. It's easy to apply, I can do it without a mirror.
they do so many shades and loads of in between shades like medium 0 and medium 1 for the everso slightly darker than medium for example
its so light on the face aswel
found a cheap supplier too www.abncosmetics.co.uk
i always but from here and if you cant find something you are after email them and they can try get it for you ( am sure they are magic)
I have dream matte mouse too and i have oily/combination skin, and i found that it dried my skin up. I used it for 2 weeks and my nose was peeling, and i stopped, used alot of moisturizer with it and it still happened again
I have a pot upstairs and it's not worth it, seriously!
It blends in so nicely with your skin when you apply it, but after an hour it goes all patchy and dry in some areas.
Bare Minerals are out now in the UK. You should try it :)
its really good - it gives you like an airbrushed look - although i cant seem to find the right one for my skin colour - but thats just mine there is a wide range. Very easy to apply
hope i helped
x
It's okay. However sometimes it can really dry your skin out so if you're going to use it also use moisturiser before applying the foundation.
Yer I would
its matches well n blends n covers very very well
the only thing is it is bad if u hav spots (makes them worst) n it can b a bit clammy sometimes
but its really good n it feels really nice on ur skin
:)
I personally love it. Yes, yes, and yes. It's just really light and airy. I don't normally like foundation, but this one does not bother me at all.

What's your favorite matte foundation?
Just wondering! I usually wear bear minerals, but sometimes I want a more matte look, and powder doesn't always do it. I need foundations that are less than thirty dollars (college students do not generally have much money!)What's your favorite matte foundation?
MAC prep+prime primer
MAC studio fix liquid
MAC studio finish concelaer
MAC select sheer powder
This is what i use and its matte and the best products I have ever tried. What's your favorite matte foundation?
yeah i too would go with Revlon colourstay
I really like Neutrogena SkinClearing Makeup. I works soo well and covers up zits and acne scars. It's also matte.
Def. Revlon Colourstay.
I use Mark Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder. It's simply the best! It keeps my skin matte all day and all night. You'll love that it's only $9.00.
Here's a link to the site:
http://sbarron.mymarkstore.com/
If you want to spend the money, you can get a good foundation from MAC, but if you want a cheaper one, try Revlon Colorstay.
It's matte, buildable, blends well, and stays on forever. I definitely recommend it
They just came out with a ';matte'; version of it http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>
I tend to go for foundations with a slightly dewy finish. However, I've tried many great foundations formulated for mattifying the skin like, Everyday Minerals in the intensive or matte formula (About $13) or Sephora's mattifying compact foundation ($20). Both of them are pretty good at keeping me shine-free and didn't break me out. I recommend Everyday Minerals more because you get a free sample kit when you first order to find your shade, and can try out their other products for free too.
However, I hear Bare Escentuals has a new matte foundation too, so you should check that out too since you're a fan of the brand.
I've been using Select by Mac- it's Matte, but not tooo matte, and also has an SPF of 15. Not cakey, either, and offers low- medium coverage. Pretty happy with it. Retails at 26 USD.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation?
Does it make ur skin flakey and dri?
Can u also use it 2 cover dark bags under eyes?
Does it cake during the day?
Does it brighten up ur skin?Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation?
Dream Matte Mousse works SO good. It's actually fun to apply cause when you put it on your skin it goes on so nice and light....feels like you have nothing on and it gives good coverage. As long as your skin isn't dry or flakey it won't cake during the day and it won't make it that way. You can use it to cover dark circles...I've been using this stuff for a looong time but now I use Revlon Colorstay---that works even better.Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation?
I hate it, i dont think is does anything. the best foundation ive found was MAC. But just the other day i tried one by lancome and i loved it. the best way to make a dull foundation better if to apply it when a foundation brush. honesly invest the money its sooo worth it
it is incredible
makes your skin lovely
if you want one evn better
theres a no7
one thats a mousse that is even amizinger!!
No it doesn't
Yes it works to cover up bags.
It does cake a bit but not very much.
It brightens up some peoples skin but my friend Rox has it and it makes her look worse so try it first.
xxxxxxxxxxx
Your skin doesn't go flaky.
It can cover your dark bags but its best to wear concealer if you want a better coverage.
It doesnt cake as its a mousse and is light on the skin
It depends what shade you choose. if you choose a lighter shade than your natural skin tone, it will brighten your skin.
Hope i could help =)

Have you tried Maybelline dream matte mouse foundation?
i will be gettin it tomorrow because it is on sale.... has anyone tried it and had good results? i looove the texture!!! Thank you!Have you tried Maybelline dream matte mouse foundation?
Yes, it's worth getting. It has quite a nice, light texture but just be sure your face is moisturised first because it goes a little cakey on dry skin. I have used it in awhile, but if I remember correctly a little goes a long way. Though I tend to not layer makeup on thick anyway.Have you tried Maybelline dream matte mouse foundation?
It's...okay.
Texture is lovely, but i find it can be REALLY cakey, and doesn't cover spots or blemishes well.
It accentuates your dry skin.
With normal skin it's fantastic
with oily skin you would need to use a powder over it.
overall, it's quite good. It's give it a 7 out of 10
I used it. It's okay. I've never been a huge fan of drugstore products... but this would be on my top 5 list of drugstore products I am most likely to buy again. So yeah, I tried it and had great results... hope you like it!
Yes, I tried it - and HATED it. It doesn't blend easily and it goes patchy. Plus, the lightest shade 'porcelain' actually makes me look orange. So I don't recommend it.
yeah, I have it :)
it is pretty good, but it can dry out your skin and go a bit flaky, so before you apply it, moisturize your face to avoid the flakyness. :P
lol i got some a couple of weeks ago cos in was on sale in superdrug and my friend recommended it, I think its good but where I have dry patches on my face it goes a bit patchy
yes i used it but it made me break out
so i swapped from it
for reviews go onto www.ciao.co.uk
then type it in and read the reviews see if it is worth getting xx
YUP YUP YUP.
its great but get one shade lighter then what you thought just by looking at the cap otherwse you are gonna look orange
i loooooooooooove it. i use it as concealer for my dark circles. its amazingg!!!
I love it but it does clog your pores. I tend to breakout when I use it.
Yeah, I love it.
yes, somewhat hard to blend.
Nope
has it got cheese in it?
YES!! i use it and i LOOOOVE it! its amazing!!!!

Does dream matte mousse foundation work?
however you spell it; hahha (:
anyways; does it change color after you put it on?
does it cover acne well?
pleaseee let me know a.s.a.p. ((:
thanks;Does dream matte mousse foundation work?
Nope, didn't like it at all. It didn't cover well and it doesn't blend well either. I think someone with acne might find that it clogs the pores and causes more problems but that's just a guess...I don't know this for sure. It just seems like it would.Does dream matte mousse foundation work?
i didnt like it at all! it felt like i had TONS of it on my skin, even when you use very little. it also rubs off very easily and you have to reapply it all the time, it's really annoying. they don't have many color choices either and it doesn't blend every well. you should try max factor cover stick, it covers really well. if you get a sponge and moisten it a little bit and apply it that way all over your face and any area you want to cover a little more just go over a few more times. good luck!:]
i have useds it for like 2 years and i liked it
but i recently stopped usiong it because i got much tanner and it was making my skin flakey and dry
i switched to MAC foundation
but i did like the matte foundation, it worked really good for me
just make sure you get the color that closest matches your face and youll be all set.
I HATE it lol. I have good skin and it made it dry and They don't have a good colour range. it's rubbish in my opinion but I know a girl who uses it for acne and it works but i think she goes through about half of it a day.
Used to use this but now changed to MAC.
Its not skin friendly, it feels heavy, is bad at covering spots and makes the skin dry and dosn't rub in very well.
It also gets used so quick and paying out all the timeisnt fun!
I love it, read more about it on my blog:

Is the Estee Lauder ';double matte'; foundation as much coverage as the estee lauder ';double wear'; foundation?
or what's the real diff
between these 2 foundations??Is the Estee Lauder ';double matte'; foundation as much coverage as the estee lauder ';double wear'; foundation?
Double Wear is a teensy bit lighter in coverage. The coverage is perfect, the shade is spot on, no oilies, just nice looking skin. This line is great if you're looking for neutral tones. Also, this stuff looks very natural on your face, for example, I can even get away with skipping concealer when using this. Finally, I find this stuff really does hold up well, even on my tremendously oily skin.
Double Matte is a bit heavier, I would say. It covers acne scars really well and would be great if you wanted to skip concealer.
The big difference is that Double Wear ';looks'; nicer on your skin, has a velvety, even finish and looks better on photos. DM is great, but a *bit* thicker. Hope that helps!!!

How much amount of foundation do you put on everyday preferbably matte or clinque foundations xx?
CLINIQUE supermoisture foundation is my saviour!!!! :)
i use around a 拢1 coin sized amount on my face, focussing on my nose and cheeks which limits redness. because the colour match is so good, i dont often use it on my forehead and am very sparing round by my eyes because it can make them look a little scaryy and pale if it is all over and below them, haha
hope this helps :)How much amount of foundation do you put on everyday preferbably matte or clinque foundations xx?
Im a beauty consultant and what I advise people is is to put a small amount on you 3 middle fingers and start with your nose and dab on your cheeks nose chin and forehead than with an up and out motion smooth it over your face if you feel your need more do so in small amounts. How much amount of foundation do you put on everyday preferbably matte or clinque foundations xx?
I use Clinique supermoisture foundation. It doesn't have a matte finish, but it has a dewy finish. You should only use a little squirt of it. A little goes a long way. (:
I use Bare Minerals and I don't have to worry about the amounts cause it's always perfect.
I use the kind where it comes with the little sponge.
I just use enough to cover my whole face without looking to cakey or unnatural.
I use Clinique Liquid Foundation, I don't apply a lot I use a little more than a pea size. You don't want your face to look cakey.
I have one of those pump foundations and I only use two pumps. That's all I need.
not to much xx

I use Clinique Liquid Foundation, I don't apply a lot I use a little more than a pea size. You don't want your face to look cakey.
I have one of those pump foundations and I only use two pumps. That's all I need.
not to much xx
Is mac studio finish matte foundation good for dry skin?
yes, it'd work okay on your skin, although you probably shouldn't use it every day, because eventually it can cause breakouts, because it's hard for your skin to breath under that particular foundation. but it's a great foundation for going out, and it lasts.. :)
Has anyone used BIOTHERM SENSE MATTE foundation?
how well does it work
would it be okay to use on ACNE prone skin?

When u apply dream matte mousse foundation is it better to use your fingers?
dont use dream matte mousse!!! it creased on my face terribly but if you have dryish skin it might be ok i guess... but yes apply it with your fingersWhen u apply dream matte mousse foundation is it better to use your fingers?
Try using a foundation brush - they are quite pricey but a good one is worth its weight in gold. When u apply dream matte mousse foundation is it better to use your fingers?
its never good to use your fingers when applying foundation u should use a damp makeup sponge this will give you good coverage and it wont make u look made up using your fingers transfers oil to your face just wet your make up sponge and then squeeze it then use it to apply your foundation and remember to always clean your makeup sponges or just use a new one each time i mean u can buy a bag of like 50 at the dollar store
good luck and stay pretty
yup XD
Yes i think it is good to use your fingers just make sure that our hands and fingers are clean before u do. Or u can use a damp sponge not the regular ones but the wedge sponge it blends more evenly. I use Dream Matte Mousse and i apply it both ways i use my fingers especially for under my eyes and sides of nose
Fingers, always, no matter what foundation. It melts it into your skin and give that more *natural* look. If you use a sponge/brush you run the risk of looking a fake!!
Make sure you wash you hands with soap before, as you will put germs and more oil onto your skin otherwise.
fingers or the way forward!, save yourself money love!
i have used this mousse for about a yr now and have always used my fingers... its great stuff....
So i would say YES.....LOL
no, its better to use a small piece of natural sponge, you can apply it more evenly.
No, use a make-up sponge. And for a dewey look, slightly wet the sponge before applying makeup
uh yah
havent you seen the commercial!
;o)
most of the beauty magazines ive read say its always best to use your fingers as they get into all nooks and crannys and give even coverage so yes fingers are best
use a sponge
It's never best to use your fingers, ever. Oil and dirt from your fingers spread not only to your face but also into the foundation itself. You always want to use a clean, damp makeup sponge or a clean foundation applique. It spreads completely even, so you dont have 'skid marks' or look like you have a mask on, and most sponges are extremely cheap. I think you can get 20+ for 1.99 at your local CVS/drugstore emporium.
definitly best if you use your fingers. Sponges just tend to absorb any foundations and therefore waste it.
on a recent tv make over show, they asked ruby (from ruby %26amp; millie) what is the best way to apply foundation, and she said with your fingers, as using a sponge can harbor dirt and bacteria, unlike freshly washed hands. I go with what she says as she is one of the top leading make up artists!
For liquid foundation a sponge, but for mousse I've always found fingers are the best.
yes it but make sure that you wash your hands other wise you will get it on your cloths
hmmm i found that it goes on better with a slightly damp make-up sponge and you only need a tiny bit- or if you dont have one then make sure you warm it up loads between your fingers before you apply it- it spreads better.
:-)

Anyone tried Chanel Mat Lumiere Matte foundation?
if so what did you think of it?was it good coverage and did it stay on well? thanksAnyone tried Chanel Mat Lumiere Matte foundation?
I have this foundation and I love it, I really like the coverage it lasts all day and isn't too oily for my skin, but the best thing would be to go and speak to the reps at a Chanel counter, they recommended this one for me and gave me some samples so I could try it out. There might be a different one which is even better for you...good luck!Anyone tried Chanel Mat Lumiere Matte foundation?
I did bought it once, it did a good job coverage-wise, but I would say if you are looking for foundation that does stay on all day, this may not be the one. I did never bought it again, even thought i liked it for the easy application.
It stays on decently enough, but it looks almost too flat in my opinion. If you have oily skin, this might be good for you though.
I have it and it's ok. It's slightly darker than the non-matte version, even for the same color rating.

I've heard mixed reviews and i'm looking for a few more please.

it is okay i suppose, but it doesnt really blend in that well espically if you put it near you eyes, you can see the creseas as the foundation highlights them. Id stick to liquid if i was you.
its really good and feels nice and soft on your face. also it makes your skin look flawless (: i really like it and use it all the time.

What is the difference between matte finish and radiant finish in terms of foundation?
Asking again...
Also, what are the benefits of each?
I'm about to buy makeup and I don't know which to choose.
Thank you. :3What is the difference between matte finish and radiant finish in terms of foundation?
Hi.
A matte finish will give your face a dryish not shiny look while the radiant finish has a very, very fine material in it that sparkles.free
