i would like to find a foundation that makes my skin look lovely and matte without making it look like i'm wearing loads of foundation. what type of foundation is the best?What type of foundation makes your skin look perfect and matte?

I personnaly use Mary Kay Medium Coverage liquid Foundation. It works great, and you can use light, medium or dark, depending on your skin tone.
Ok so I have to start by saying I have tried so many different foundations and I have spent loads of money trying to get the look you're describing. However, I am now hooked on one thing. It's a foundation primer. I bought a brand called ';24.7 foundation primer'; and it is so amazing. I found this one for about $16 at Target. So many makeup brands have it though. Sephora has one for $20, clinique has one too...it just depends on your budget.





To use it, you wash your face like normal and put on regular moisturizer. Then put on the primer and let is soak in for about 2 minutes. Then put on your foundation over it. It's almost magical how good this works.





As far as foundation, I use covergirl. I really like it. One thing you can do to make your skin look matte is use powder to set your foundation. It makes it last longer too.
